We are looking for experienced QA Test Automation Engineers to join our team in the smart wearable technology department. Due to NDA requirements, this project will be executed at our client’s location – a worldwide known silicon technology company located in Vancouver.
Cooperate with other teams to gather, analyze and understand the architecture, product and feature requirements
Develop automated test scripts utilizing Python and Robot Framework
Plan and integrate automated test scripts with continuous integration tools and setting up automation testing infrastructure
Develop, execute, debug and maintain test plans, test procedures, test scenarios and test cases
Detect test failures, perform root-cause analysis, create defect reports and ensure that timely and accurate resolutions are provided
Document test configuration and QA procedures
Collaborate with QA lead and development lead to identify and create test cases for test automation suites
Generate test-automation reports, analyze test results and make recommendations on how to refine the system to better suit user needs and expectations
Participate in triage and root cause analysis of identified defects
3+ years of experience in either Software Development or Test Automation including minimum 2 years of experience with Python software development or automation
1 + years of experience either with Android/ADB or iOS/Xcode and Linux application software development or scripting
Experience using Test Automation Framework tools such as Robot / RIDE, Espresso, UI Automator
Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Zephyr, Stash) and Jenkins
Experience in identifying issues, reporting, tracking, managing bugs and conflicts throughout the SDLC in an Agile Development Environment.
Understanding of QA methodologies and processes in SDLC and STLC in an Agile/Scrum environment. Must be comfortable working in an open, highly collaborative team environment
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Software Engineer, Computer Science Degree or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
